"I am so pleased with the purchase and installation of my shades, not only do they provide privacy for the patio area, it has reduced the temperature of the patio as well as the house. I can feel the difference in the house and the AC has been running less than it used to. I was really impressed with Shane and team that came out to install, they were efficient, professional and did such an amazing job. The shades are very versatile as well, I have the ability to make the area an outside screen room, or pick and choose which shades I want closed. I am so impressed with the quality of the shades, they look so clean and I am confident that I will start seeing the benefits of the shades on my energy bill. I highly recommend Hill Country Shades of Texas, I had a great experience!"

"Shane, Michael, and Coltan just installed our retractable solar shades, and my wife and I both immediately felt the difference. Our back patio faces west and the floor tiles get very hot. The heat makes our patio uncomfortable and, frankly, unusable in the summer. The solar shades reduced the patio temperature by 15 degrees! They also dramatically reduced the temperature in our living room which is adjacent to the patio. We have every reason to believe we will see a financial benefit in future summer time electric bills. We were extremely surprised and needless to say pleased with the results. Now our patio actually can double as an outdoor room! In addition to the value the solar screens add to our home is the fact that Shane and his crew were clean, courteous, knowledgeable, and diligent. They knew what they needed to do, they had all the right tools, and they worked as a well oiled dedicated team. This company provided an excellent product, installed by trustworthy professionals, and in a timely manner. I highly recommend Hill Country Awnings and Shades to one and all."

"Our home faces west and we suffered each afternoon of the summer with the sun full on our patio. We contacted companies for bids on a retractable sun shade. Dana arranged for Shane to come and look at our situation. I was immediately comfortable with Shane he was knowledgeable and made recommendations for our situation. The pricing was better than other bids so we ordered through Hill Country Shades. What a great decision that was. When they came to install they encountered a couple of problems with the install but remained pleasant even though they were working in the hot sun . It was a pleasure having them at the house and left us with a cure for our patio heat. I would definitely recommend this company , thank you Dana , Shane and your team"

SOLAR SCREENS
"We have had ten I 10 ) solar screens installed over a period of two years; two at 100% for TV-Media room, five at 95% for lower deck windows, two at 95% for upper deck windows ( media, lower and upper deck facing west ) and one at 90% for kitchen window facing south. Mr. Pitcher and his son did a fantastic job on measurements and installation with NO problems. All screens are electric powered and with remote controls. Mr. Pitcher is a customer orientated person who knows how to completely satisfy clients on pricing and workmanship. Our monthly COA Electric Service charges have shown a good reduction since all screens were installed. We will continue to recommend Hill Country Awning & Shades of Texas to all our neighbors and friends. Thank you A.D. for the jobs well done! "
